Capacity Assessments
We conducted assessments to better understand the current efforts in monitoring and managing lead exposure among children in Colombia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Maharashtra, India, and Peru. During the assessments, the teams reviewed existing literature and government regulations, summarized current procedures to identify children with lead exposure, identified laboratories with the capacity to test lead in blood, and provided recommendations to improve the monitoring and management of lead exposure.
